About me
Abhishek Ojha, hailing from India, is an aspiring actor with a deep passion for the craft of acting. Originally coming to America to pursue a Master's degree in Construction Management, Abhishek found himself drawn to the stage while simultaneously performing as a vocalist in New York City & New Jersey. This serendipitous experience led him to discover his true calling in acting.
With a lifelong fascination for the performing arts and a deep love for cinema, Abhishek's journey into the world of acting began five years ago. Since then, he has immersed himself in the pursuit of his acting career, constantly striving to delve further into the craft and grow as an artist. His extensive professional work in New York City includes notable off-Broadway productions such as "Egg Frame" directed by Lauren McAuliffe and Nicholas Kennedy where he's an understudy, "Love's Labor's Lost" directed by Joshua Koehn, and "The Merchant of Venice" also under the direction of Joshua Koehn.
Abhishek's dedication to his craft is further evident in his commitment to training by constantly pursuing training at HB Studios and T Schreiber Studios along with doing professional theatre.
Beyond his stage work, Abhishek has also ventured into the world of film. He has worked as an assistant director on several NYU Tisch films and has acted in two short films, showcasing his versatility and expanding his creative horizons.
With a strong foundation of training and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Abhishek Ojha is poised to take on more complex characters in the future. His commitment to his craft, coupled with his innate talent and passion for storytelling, sets him apart as a promising and dedicated actor in the industry.
